FOUNDER AND ATTORNEY
Kei started her practice with a vision to provide accessible, practical and fair legal advisory services to startups and entrepreneurs.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kei spent a decade working for and supporting numerous startup companies, both in for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. These experiences have provided her with unique and global understanding of running a startup business, and an art of addressing and advising on legal issues through business lenses and as part of a big picture that is critical to her clients.
Kei is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland, and a member of numerous organizations especially those that support the development of female leadership, including Womens' Bar Association of D.C., Women Owned Law, Working Mother's Entrepreneurial Group of Washington, D.C. and serves on the Board of Women's Startup Lab Impact Foundation.
LAURA COLEMAN
PARALEGAL AND OFFICE MANAGER
Laura joined Kei S. Tolliver Law in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Laura worked for Pearson, Chesapeake College, and Kent County Offices. During her long tenure at Pearson, she provided legal and governance support to K-12 schools across the country.
Laura graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies. Laura lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her family and supports many educational, environmental, and animal rescue organizations.
